Hsi-Chou branch school of Changhe Public School was established on April 1st, 1922.

The independent His-ChouPublic School was established on April 1st, 1927.

The name of school was changed to TaipeiCounty, JhongheTownship, His-ChouElementary School on April 1st, 1945.

Jhonghe was divided as township on April 1st, 1958, and the name of school was changed to TaipeiCounty, YongheTownship, YongheElementary School.

The period of compulsory education was extended on August 1st, 1968, and the name of school was changed to TaipeiCounty, YongheTownship, YongheElementary School.

YongheTownship was upgraded to a county municipality on Jan. 1st, 1979, and the name of school was changed to TaipeiCounty, YongheCity, YongheElementary School.
